Claudia Peifer Of TA-DAH.TV Honoured With Inspirational Women In Business Award For Media Innovation

Claudia Peifer, founder, executive producer and lead presenter of TA-DAH.TV, has been named the recipient of the Inspirational Women in Business Award in Media Innovator 2026, recognising her outstanding contribution to European lifestyle broadcasting and her vision for creating a platform that celebrates culture, travel, fashion, music and the arts across borders.

What began with presenting a bilingual cultural programme for Estival Television on Spain’s Costa del Sol has evolved into an internationally recognised media platform reaching audiences around the world. Presenting in English and German, for foreign residents living in Andalusia, Claudia quickly recognised the limitations of traditional broadcasting as viewing habits began to change with the arrival of YouTube. While many broadcasters struggled to adapt, she saw an opportunity to think differently.

As her Spanish improved, Claudia moved from the studio into the heart of events, working alongside film crews to capture experiences that audiences could enjoy wherever they were. It was there she discovered her greatest strength.

“This is when I discovered where my real talents were placed: establishing a connection with people! From First Ministers to festival goers at a rave, to Hollywood stars, I was able to get all sorts of people in front of camera to chat to me.”

When Estival Television eventually closed, Claudia refused to let the vision disappear. Instead, she spent years developing a concept that would solve the problems she had experienced first-hand. Rather than limiting viewers to lifestyle and cultural stories from where they lived, she imagined a platform that would allow audiences across Europe to discover experiences beyond their own borders. Filming began throughout 2016 before TA-DAH.TV officially launched in 2017.

Even the name reflected that ambition. Claudia wanted something memorable that could be understood across different cultures and languages, giving every adventure and experience its own “TA-DAH” moment.

The philosophy behind TA-DAH.TV has always been rooted in authenticity. Claudia believes success requires vision, determination, fearless self-belief, perseverance, flexibility and a willingness to keep learning. She also wanted people to understand that the platform celebrates the uniqueness and authenticity of every European nation and culture, enriching viewers through genuine experiences rather than focusing on differences.

That commitment has become even more valuable in today’s AI-driven media landscape. Claudia believes authenticity and professional editing remain TA-DAH.TV’s greatest strengths. Although filming is primarily based across Europe, stories often extend further afield while maintaining a distinctly European perspective, such as documenting horseback trekking into the ocean in Tobago through the story of a German woman and her Tobagonian husband who run the centre together.

The platform has also challenged conventional audience demographics by embracing what Claudia describes as “the young affluent to the young at heart”, recognising that today’s audiences continue exploring, travelling and discovering life well beyond traditional age brackets. Behind the scenes, years have also been invested in building a trusted team of talented freelancers whose passion now drives every production. Claudia is equally honest in acknowledging the role of timing and opportunity, believing luck matters, but also insisting that sometimes you have to create your own.

COVID-19 presented the greatest challenge the business had ever faced. For a lifestyle and entertainment platform built around travel and experiences, global lockdowns threatened everything.

Rather than giving up, Claudia reinvented both herself and the business. She taught herself filming, scriptwriting, editing, voice-over recording and digital team management. Friends and family across different countries became part of an international production network, sourcing whatever locations remained accessible under constantly changing restrictions. Together they transformed a group of beginners into content creators capable of producing programmes that kept audiences entertained during one of the world’s most difficult periods.

“It was more than just a challenge, it was a fight for survival. And we did…just!”

The resilience developed during that period continues to shape the way Claudia approaches every new challenge, something she now looks back on with quiet gratitude.

Supporting women has also become an important part of her leadership. Working in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Claudia actively encourages female talent, including women behind the camera, while championing female achievements across many of TA-DAH.TV’s programmes, particularly in sport.

She also credits meditation as one of the most powerful discoveries of her career, describing it as an essential part of maintaining self-belief during challenging times. Alongside that, she encourages women to seek advice without fear, learn from experts, trust their instincts and ensure every major decision is backed by knowledge. While no business leader can know everything, she believes understanding the fundamentals behind every decision is an essential responsibility.

For Claudia, the greatest reward remains the opportunity to capture life on film.

Meeting remarkable people, experiencing extraordinary events and discovering different cultures continues to fuel her passion. Living daily between three cultures and languages has strengthened her appreciation of being European and the diversity that comes with it.

One message from a viewer remains especially close to her heart. A young woman wrote to explain that physical limitations prevented her from travelling, but through TA-DAH.TV she could still discover Europe from home. For Claudia, that perfectly captured the purpose of everything they create: inspiring people to explore, laugh, discover something new or simply brighten a lunch break or journey.

There is also plenty of laughter behind the camera. Nicknamed “I-take-Claudia” by her crew, she takes enormous satisfaction in delivering flawless pieces to camera in a single take, often followed by her team’s familiar celebration of “Bang, and it’s in the can,” much to everyone’s amusement.

Among her proudest achievements are defending her vision when many believed a European lifestyle television platform could never succeed, surviving the COVID years, experiencing significant subscriber and audience growth over the past twelve months, and building the passionate, committed team that now powers TA-DAH.TV.

Looking ahead, Claudia is seeking sponsorship partnerships for the channel’s Costa Stories series with lifestyle-focused brands such as automotive manufacturers, airlines and travel companies looking to strengthen their presence on Spain’s Costa del Sol. The recently expanded production team will also enable content to be released more quickly as viewing figures continue to grow.

Another exciting ambition is the development of a TA-DAH.TV film prize in partnership with college film studies courses, creating opportunities to identify, encourage and nurture the next generation of filmmaking talent.

Like many entrepreneurs, Claudia admits there have been many moments when she questioned whether to continue.

Meditation became her anchor, helping her become what she describes as her own safety net. She believes in staying true to a vision, practising gratitude and trusting that persistence eventually opens new doors. She also expresses sincere appreciation both to those who believed in her from the beginning and to those who placed obstacles in her path, believing every challenge ultimately made her stronger, more determined and more motivated.

“Recognition by institutions such as yours makes me personally even more determined to stick with it and make it all happen, and not just on my behalf but also that of the incredibly enthusiastic team behind me.”

Claudia also extended her thanks to the Innervision Media Awards team for recognising the vision behind TA-DAH.TV and the work being carried out by the entire production team.

When asked who has influenced her most, Claudia explains that inspiration comes from people and situations throughout life. She admires individuals such as Iman, David Bowie, Sharon Stone and P!NK for living authentically, alongside numerous life coaches whose generosity in sharing wisdom has shaped her outlook. Combined with self-belief and personal empowerment, they have taught her resilience, a deeper understanding of human nature, acceptance that nobody knows everything and the importance of trusting the unknown.

Perhaps the philosophy that best reflects her journey comes from the poet Rumi, whose words continue to guide her path:

“As you start to walk on the way, the way appears!”
