Elementa Educational Support Services has been honoured with the Inspirational Women in Business Award, recognising the outstanding leadership of Sarah Morrison, Managing Director, and the organisation’s continued commitment to supporting children, families and educators across the community.
The award celebrates women who lead with purpose, resilience and impact, qualities that define Sarah Morrison’s work at Elementa and the organisation’s wider mission. Through her leadership, Elementa has grown into a vital support network that works alongside Elementa Support Services Ltd and Elmtree Learning Partnership Ltd to strengthen educational outcomes and protect vulnerable children during times of increasing pressure on the sector.
Elementa Community Interest Company plays a critical role in maximising the impact of educational services by providing training, mentoring and direct family support. As the cost of living continues to rise and the financial burden on education settings grows, professional development and additional family assistance are often the first areas to be reduced. Elementa CIC exists to bridge that gap.
“At its heart, Elementa is about people,” said Sarah Morrison, Managing Director.
“Children thrive when the adults around them feel confident, supported and equipped. This award recognises not just leadership, but the collective effort to ensure that training, guidance and family support remain available when they are needed most.”
Under Sarah Morrison’s direction, the organisation actively raises funds through community fundraising, grant applications and partnerships with local businesses. These funds are used to subsidise essential training for educators, deliver tailored support packages to families facing hardship, and provide urgent assistance to children experiencing crisis.
“Removing support doesn’t remove the need,” Morrison explained. “In fact, it often increases it. Our role is to step in where resources fall short and ensure that children and families are not left without guidance during their most challenging moments.”
Beyond professional training, Elementa CIC focuses on bespoke, family centred support. By working closely with parents, carers and significant adults in a child’s life, the organisation helps build stable environments where young people can feel safe, understood and empowered to succeed. This holistic approach ensures that support is not only reactive, but sustainable.
The Inspirational Women in Business Award highlights leadership that creates meaningful, long term change. For Elementa Educational Support Services, the recognition reinforces its mission to advocate for children, invest in educators and strengthen families through compassionate, practical and forward thinking support.
Looking ahead, Sarah Morrison and the Elementa team remain committed to expanding their reach, deepening community partnerships and continuing to champion the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of circumstance.
